Healing Happens Here: A Look Inside the Body, Mind & Spirit Expo

On June 21 and 22, the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa was transformed into a vortex of vibes, visions, and very good energy as the Body, Mind & Spirit Expo rolled into town…and we showed up with open hearts and flower crowns firmly in place.
Imagine a giant crystal grid sprinkled with palo santo smoke and laughter…that was the scene. Booth after booth beckoned with healing hands, cosmic tools, and promises of self-care that felt more like soul-care. It was part metaphysical marketplace, part community hug and part sensory overload in the best possible way.
Let’s talk highlights:
Crystals Galore – From thumb-sized rose quartz hearts to amethyst towers, the crystal vendors did not come to play. We touched, held and maybe even whispered to a few (don’t judge us) and definitely came home with a pocket full of sparkly intentions. We were especially drawn to the beautiful energy and selection at On the Rockz, where the prices were as good as the vibes. And the team at Jarki Gemstones and Minerals truly impressed with a fantastic selection, fair prices and an educational experience on gemstone uses that felt like a spiritual crash course.
Reiki, Readings & Resurrection – Healing hands were everywhere. It seemed like every person had their eyes closed mid-energy session, while someone gently hovered over their aura like a human tuning fork. And let’s talk about our session with Bobby Okuda, a Jyorei Spiritual Light Healer from Shumei America. In just five minutes, we felt tingles, energy shifts and an eerie sense of clarity. When he gently told me “you think too much,” I almost fell off the chair…it was so on point! We were absolutely blown away. For deeper energy work, Barry Helm offered what he calls Resurrection Therapy, which focuses on clearing energy blocks, balancing emotions and promoting mental clarity. My friend had a 30-minute session (at $10 a minute—yes, we gulped too), but she walked away glowing, centered and swearing it was worth every penny.
Self-Care That Feels Like a Hug – We stumbled across Happy Elephant and fell head over chakras for their Aloe Vera Face & Body Cream. It’s all-natural, fragrance-free and silky smooth…like a cloud kissed your skin. After a long day of walking and crystal ogling, this little jar of plant magic felt like the cool-down we didn’t know we needed.
Talks That Touched Our Souls – The speaker lineup included spiritual teachers, wellness authors and sound healers whose voices could double as meditation tracks.
Boho Shopping Wonderland – Tie-dye jumpers, goddess jewelry, moon journals, essential oils and more crystals and gemstones than you could shake a selenite wand at. It was impossible to leave empty-handed (and why would you want to?).
The people definitely added to the ambience. It was a beautifully unique and welcoming tribe. Whether you were deep in your spiritual awakening or just wandered in looking for a candle that smells like enlightenment, there was something here for you.
In short, the Body, Mind & Spirit Expo reminded us that healing doesn’t have to be so serious. It can be joyful. It can be colorful. It can come with a side of raw honey and a moonstone ring.
